Taj Mahal

Agra – City of Love 
Delhi – Agra – Approx  210 kms (4 to 5 Hours Drive)

0600 : Start from Delhi and proceed directly to the Agra Sloth Bear Lifetime Care Centre. Packed breakfast on board. 
1000 : Arrive at LTC Centre 
1200 : Proceed for lunch 
1230 : Lunch
1330 : Proceed to Agra Fort- built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar in the late 16th century. 
1500 : Proceed to see Taj Mahal by sunset. The sublimely beautiful Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shah Jahan as a testament for his love for his wife Mumtaz Muhal. This World Heritage site is an architectural masterpiece, a legacy of the Mughal Empire that ruled India for 200 years from the early 16th century. 
1700 : Drive back to Delhi with light refreshments on board
2130 : Optional dinner en-route with a break at a mid-point. (Not included in the cost)

Note: Taj Mahal is closed for public on Fridays.

Tour of Delhi

Combined city tour of Delhi
Duration: 6 Hours

Morning after breakfast Assemble around 0900Hrs at India Habitat Centre. The tour to Imperial Delhi will include a visit tothe Qutub Minar, the tallest stone tower in India. Qutub-ud-din Aibak started it in 1199. Pulling down 27 Hindu and Jain temples and using their columns erected the attached Quwwat-ul-Islam mosque also built by him. Then visit Humayun’s tomb, built by the widow of the second Mughal Emperor, Humayun, it is an outstanding monument in the Indo-Persian style, a precursor of the Taj Mahal. The tour also includes a drive past the imposing India Gate, the Parliament building and the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the President’s residence. 

Lunch in some restaurant.

After Lunch  visit Rajghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi and National Gandhi Museum. 
The final stop of the tour is the visit to Red fort (Lal Qila). Built during the reign of Emperor Shah Jahan was a residence to the royal family.
Note: Monuments in Delhi are closed on Monday.
After city tour stop at Janpath to shop few local souvenirs.
